Etude House - AC Clinic

No I am not bias with Etude House, it just that their products does wonders on my skin.

I bought this last week for my sister to clear off her acne.

It is a kit which costs 340php++. Sorry, I forgot the prices.  There are two trial kits.  The other one which is new, it includes a BB and a cute pouch, but since my sister won't use the BB, then I just bought this.

L-R toner, gel lotion, pink powder water, and pink powder spot with these cute Q-tips. 

The kit includes a foam cleanser, but it is not included in the picture I forgot to take a picture (it's in the bathroom).  All in small sizes since it is a trial kit.

Out of this stuffs I am amazed by this two.  Small but terrible I must say.

Pink Powder Water ; Pink Powder Spot

I had a pimple near the bridge of my nose.  It is annoying because I can see it from the side of my eye. O_O

I used these two, first the pink powder water and then the pink powder spot.

When I applied it  on the pimple I feel a stinging sensation just a little not burning, with that I believe that it will work.  It's the same with the pink one.   

I used it at night and in the morning..... pparabam!!! The bump is gone, it's flat and there is no redness. ^_^  Hey! This is a miracle product...

My sister is still trying the other stuffs, but I will observe on how will it fair to her.

Tony Moly - Floria Pore Tightening Emulsion

As I have mentioned from my previous post I tried to sample other products from a different brand.  My moisturizer was closed to nothingness so I opted for another one.

Since Tony Moly is a good brand too in which my other friends attest that the skin products are okay. I tried it.

I bought this one.

It is a "Pore Tightening Emulsion" - that right there is the reason I bought it.  I thought it will have a good relationship with wonder pore to eradicate these pores haha...

Here is the description:

It strengthens and tightens the skin which I agree because the first time I applied this I did felt it.

I used it every day and night as indicated.  Around two weeks I see some pimples coming out on my cheek and forehead.  I just ignored it that time, because I am having my monthly visitor, but after I can see some coming out which is the reason I discontinued it.

This cost around 600-700++php.

CONCLUSION:

- Watery consistency

- Mild Smell

- Not oily

- Upon application you can feel the tightening effect.

- I had breakouts so - bye! :P

Etude House Skin Malgem All in One - Emulsion

You may noticed that the products I am posting are not new. Well, it is because I am a lazy person who just decided to post it now. 

Kidding!

I think this is the best time to post product reviews because I have tested it already for a period of time.

Since I have a good relationship with my toner from EH (Etude House).  I have ventured into the other step MOISTURIZE.

So, here it goes again, I am oily therefore moisturizer is not for me - WRONG! 

We still need it, it is just that we have to use the product that is compatible with our skin type.

If you are asking me why it came to my mind to use one... AGE haha.. I am on my quarter life and the last thing I want to see are premature wrinkles.. hihihi.

I introduce to you the moisturizer that I have picked out of the racks of EH that worked for me.

SKIN MAL:GEUM EMULSION

When this was launched, I thought the line would only be toners, but then it has some moisturizers too.  Well, it is labeled as an emulsion, though it works the same way.

The hangul/Korean characters says MOISTURIZER + ESSENCE + CREAM

 Don't ask me the difference of these three as it offers the same thought which is it will make my skin soft.

I picked this one because the malgeum line is hypoallergenic - something that is included in my skin care vocabulary.  It also means that for an oily/ sensitive skin that I have this will work too.

I bought this April 2012 around 300++.  It lasts for 12 months upon opening it.  It does have a seal so you will know that it is new and untouched.

It is like a lotion but not sticky.  It is watery too.  The instruction said that you put it in your face, rub then pat.

Again, it's not sticky... I let it dry for five minutes before I apply the next product I use.  There is no strong smell.

CONCLUSION:
- No oiliness.
- Made my skin softer as compared to I am not using any moisturizer at all.
- Break outs? A few after two weeks of use, but after that there is none anymore.


* This is not the first moisturizer I've tried from EH.  I've bought the Aloe Moistfull soothing lotion and I have to discontinue it after a month, because of the continuous breakouts that I have.

**I used it for other moisturizing purposes though**

LESSON:
It's a matter of trial and error when it comes to skin care products.  I have hit panned my mal:gem and tried another one from another brand, but it seems my skin didn't have a good relationship with it.  I'll post my review with it too.

ETUDE HOUSE - WONDER PORE FRESHNER

WHAT A WONDER!!!

Honestly, I was never educated with regards to proper skin care.  Back then, I have collected teenage magazines, but I never pay attention with these three words CLEANSE, TONE, MOISTURIZE.

Especially the TONE part...

I thought TONERS are like astringents and I can remember the stuffs that my mother used that peeled her skin like a snake (hihi).

My face is like a frying pan. OILY to the highest level (haha) and I hate my pores big time.  

I can't appreciate make up, because once I stepped out of the house I feel so greasy. Yes! Even though products with oil control on it does not work on me *sulk*

One fine day, I went to Etude House and I saw this humongous bottle and inquired about it.  Well, I was hesitant to buy it since it costs around 700++ and I don't know what will it do to me yet...  

But, then, sometimes you have to try things in order to know...

WONDER PORE - TONER

It boasts of 7in1 solution for your skin.  What made me get it is that it will control oil/ sebum and make your pores smaller.

I love the packaging, especially the pump. You don't have to turn it over like other toners.

The smell..hmm.. it's mild, so that gave away that this one won't do any harm with my skin.

When I used it it is like just water, no tingling sensations or whatsoever.  About a week, I can feel less oilier, like when I have a powder on, I don't feel that greasy way back when I was not using it.

Around a month to two, I noticed that the pores near my nose were smaller as compared to what I have before.  I don't have a picture of the past, but this is how it look right now.

Note: It did not made the pores vanished, but it was minimized.

I have used this for a year already.  I emptied two bottles already because my sister is using it too. If you used it by yourself, I think it will last you for a year or it depends on how you use it.  For me, I use it every morning and night.

It comes on a smaller bottle too.

CONCLUSION:
- It does control the oil, but it didn't made my skin dry.
- Pores minimized.  No greasy feeling even if I don't retouch with my make up on.
- Totally cleanses your face from deep within.
